HKEX is one of the world’s major exchange groups, and operates a range of equity, commodity, fixed income and currency markets. HKEX is the world’s leading IPO market and as Hong Kong’s only securities and derivatives exchange and sole operator of its clearing houses, it is uniquely placed to offer regional and international investors access to Asia’s most vibrant market.
While designing the website, we have utilised the branding elements of HKEX, which runs beautifully throughout different pages of the entire website. We have also attentively crafted its layout so that large, animated visuals can be used while keeping the website neat and easily accessible.
With these principles in mind, we have taken on the challenge of condensing information of ten-thousands’ pages worth into a sleek, modern market site. The information is now artfully filled into carefully categorised pages and dynamic cards, the appearance of which varies according to their content. All these are designed to allow great flexibility for future usage.
We have worked closely with HKEX and our technical partner GTI throughout the entire design process. The HKEX Project Team has kindly supplied us with useful input and global insights, and we are grateful for the technical assistance of GTI, which supported us with their cutting-edge technology and top-tier enterprise CMS Sitecore - an indispensable element that makes the flexibility of the website possible.
